Initializing Life Affirmation: Human Hair Wigs to Live Confidently

June 29th, 2009

Our group of friends didn’t think the indestructible Colleen Dreskell, our family friend, might someday need a collection of wigs. Her iconic long black hair added so much to her indomitable look. Have you seen her lately? The one and only continues to be recognized for her style. Only a handful of souls know she wears lace front wigs. Keep it on the DL.

When we were youths finding our way in high school, we once took turns winning Miss “SCH” four years running. In our twenties her hair loss took its toll and her hair wouldn’t be the same. I did hint at some lace front wigs. Oh well, she just shaved her head. Undeterred by her hair loss, she aggressively never let you forget about her bald-headed look.

Appearing at her fiance’s homecoming, we ate nuts till her beau retardedly launched the sphere (or whatever you call it) towards the fans. With quick reflexes she reached out for the thing when her hand-knitted “head sweater” (her idea) jumped from her head, revealing her thinning hair. No big deal, she walked over and delivered it into the goal. What’d I tell ya about her spunk?

But, who can be invincible at all times? Not too long after she invited me over for a “Gilmore Girls” binge, the day she quietly confided that she would rather make do with a shorn head out of anger. She would never look at human hair wigs, though she wanted her hair back. She then miss invincible turned flush red and begged that I dismiss the notion. So I did.

There was no way to get her words out of my head. Later on, I talked about going shopping with me for a new lace front wig. After a long deliberation we came to the obvious conclusion: we’d buy each other wigs I used my credit card, and it was worth it.

She and I were bewildered by the options. We couldn’t believe that wigs could be this fashionable for people, even superstars. These women’s wigs were marvelous. I built a comprehensively new ensemble to go with my synthetic wig. Out of solidarity, if you haven’t heard. The other day she thanked me for invisible lace front wig, and disclosed that it brought about a new attitude for many occasions. It’s heartwarming to witness little miss attitude live a happier existence. Friends can do anything!
